CE Sabadell coaches course is organized in and around four different blocks:

 

1) Activities: attendees will have the opportunity to visit the most acknowledged youth setups in Catalonia such as La Masia or FC Girona youth academy

​

2) Guest speakers: attendees will also be offered a well design program of workshops delivered by leading personalities in football industry. Confirmed guest speakers:

 

• JOFRE MATEU, former FC Barcelona Pro player.

• ALBERT ALTARRIBA, Conditional trainer at New York Red Bull and Birmingham City FC.

• JUVENAL EDJOGO-OWONO, Current Ass. Coach of CE Sabadell First team. Former Pro player and two participations in Africa Nations Cup representing the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

• BERNAT FRANQUESA, Head instructor of Albert’s Puig football code. Albert Puig was the former technical director of FC Barcelona La Masia.

• JAUME MILÀ, Technical director of CE Sabadell youth academy.

• MIQUEL LLADÓ, U19 head coach of CE Sabadell & former head coach of South United FC, 2nd division I-league.

 

3) On field practice: Coaches will also have the opportunity to design and implement their own training sessions based on the guidelines proposed during the workshops

4) Matches: Coaches will be offered the chance to see top level youth matches as well as FC Barcelona vs Osasuna La Liga match

Not only at its flagship institution, FC Barcelona, but also at a wider range of clubs that have reached excellence within their youth academies. This coaches educational tour offers you the opportunity to know the secrets and key foundations behind associative game model. Coaches will also be able to discover and feel the experience of CE Sabadell, the biggest football club in Catalonia after the big three: FC Barcelona, RCD Espanyol and FC Girona.

 

CE Sabadell, founded in 1903, has 100+ years of history and its first team, currently on top of Spanish 2B league, it has played 14 seasons in La Liga and 40+ seasons in La Liga 2. CE Sabadell youth academy has 40+ teams and 600+ youth players who constantly prove their talent to ultimately succeed with our main squad.

Football is the most important sport in Catalonia region and was introduced in the late 19th century by a combination of mostly British immigrant workers and visiting sailors, and students returning from Britain. Catalonia led the way in the development of football in Spain, organising both the first association and the first league. Today football in Catalonia is organized by the Catalan Football Federation and the RFEF and teams from Catalonia compete in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, the Copa Catalunya and several European competitions.
