👋 Meet the Founder: Ritchie Semple

Total Football Experience was founded by Ritchie Semple, a lifelong football fan, youth coach, and tour organizer based in the North West of England — home to football giants like Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Everton.

Ritchie Semple launched Total Football Experience full-time in 2017 with a clear mission: To create the kind of soccer tours he wished had existed when he was growing up — flexible, personalized, high-quality experiences that go far beyond just football.

​

With over 19 years of experience as a coach and sports tutor at professional clubs and colleges — from grassroots to academy level — Ritchie had already led his own teams on tours across the UK and Spain. Along the way, he began to build strong, lasting relationships with training venues, UEFA-licensed coaches, local clubs, and matchday providers throughout the UK.

Recognising the limitations of traditional, one-size-fits-all tour packages, he set out to do things differently. Instead of offering rigid itineraries and fixed dates, Ritchie founded a company that puts full control back in the hands of the coach or organiser — with no set dates, no fixed itineraries, and no fixed pricing. Today, he works directly with youth teams from the USA, Canada, and across North America, helping them plan and experience unforgettable, fully bespoke soccer tours to England, Spain, and Portugal.

We design fully bespoke soccer tours for North American youth and junior teams of all levels — from Recreational to Elite MLS Next. Our tours typically include:

  • Competitive matches vs UK Academy and Grassroots teams

  • Training sessions with UEFA-licensed coaches at world-class venues like St George’s Park, Wolves, or Colliers Park

  • Premier League stadium tours — Old Trafford, Anfield, Etihad, Stamford Bridge, and more

  • Matchday Experiences — flag bearing, halftime penalties, ball kids, and more

  • Sightseeing in cities like London, Manchester, Liverpool, and Chester

  • Live match tickets (Premier League, Championship, League One, and Cups, *subject to availability)

  • Optional fundraising tips and planning support

 

And because every tour is 100% custom, you tell us what you want — and we’ll build the tour around it.
