Travel to Wolverhampton
Continue your journey north by private coach, travelling from London Heathrow to Wolverhampton ahead of your first scheduled activity of the tour.
Training at Wolverhampton Wanderers
Take part in a high-quality training session led by highly qualified and experienced Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy coaches. Players will experience professional-level coaching in excellent facilities, giving them an insight into the standards, methods and environment of a professional English football club.

A Valuable Experience for Players & Coaches
The session is not only a fantastic opportunity for the players. Your team’s coaches can stand alongside the Wolves coaches throughout the session, observing how they work with the players, discussing the session and gaining ideas they can take back to their own club.

Evening in the hotel or at the Trafford Centre
After check-in, take the short walk across to the Trafford Centre, where the group can choose from a wide range of restaurants and dining options. This gives players, coaches and families the flexibility to choose what they would like to eat before returning to the hotel for the evening.
Day 2: Manchester City Etihad Stadium Tour & Training Session
Manchester City Stadium Tour & “A Day in the Life of a Footballer” Workshop
Visit the Etihad Stadium for a behind-the-scenes tour of one of England’s most recognisable football venues. Explore key areas of the stadium, learn more about Manchester City and experience the surroundings used by players and staff on matchdays.
The visit also includes the “A Day in the Life of a Footballer” workshop, giving players an insight into the routines, preparation, responsibilities and standards involved in life as a professional footballer.

Training Session at Trafford 5’s
Later in the day, take part in a training session at Trafford 5’s, delivered by experienced UEFA-qualified coaches. Play your first competitive match of the tour against Stockport County at Stockport Sports Village, the long-term base for the club’s academy, women’s teams and education programmes.

The fixture gives your players the opportunity to test themselves against English opposition in a strong development environment, experience a different playing style and tempo, and represent their club in what should be a competitive and memorable first match of the tour.

Free Evening
After the day’s activities, enjoy some well-earned downtime. Relax at the hotel or make the short walk to the Trafford Centre, where you can choose from a wide range of restaurants, shops and entertainment options.
Day 4: Match 2 &
Excursion to Chester
Match 2 – vs Salford City
Take on Salford City in another competitive fixture, this time at the club’s Littleton Road training facilities in Salford. The site was previously used by Manchester United as a training and academy base, adding an extra sense of football history to the occasion.

The match gives your players another opportunity to test themselves against English opposition, adapt to a different style of play and continue building confidence and experience as the tour progresses.

Spend the afternoon exploring Chester, one of England’s most historic and distinctive cities. Founded as a Roman fortress in AD 79, Chester still has some of the most complete Roman and medieval city walls in Britain, along with the remains of a Roman amphitheatre and the peaceful Roman Gardens. The sheer age of the city is often one of the most striking parts of the experience, with almost 2,000 years of history visible within a compact and walkable city centre.
Chester is also famous for The Rows, its unique two-tier medieval shopping galleries, and for Eastgate Street, where historic black-and-white buildings sit alongside modern shops, cafés and restaurants. Add in landmarks such as the Eastgate Clock, Chester Cathedral and the River Dee, and the city offers a memorable mix of history, architecture, shopping and sightseeing.

Evening at the Trafford Centre
Spend the evening enjoying everything the Trafford Centre complex has to offer. With a huge choice of restaurants, shops and entertainment options, players, coaches and families can choose how they want to spend their time, whether that means sitting down for a meal, browsing the shops, catching a movie or enjoying one of the many leisure activities available before returning to the hotel.
Day 5: Match 3 & Free Time
Match 3 – vs Trafford FC Youth
Take on Trafford FC Youth in another competitive fixture against local English opposition. Trafford FC Youth is a community club providing boys and girls from ages 5 to 18 with a clear development pathway linked to Trafford FC, the semi-professional senior club based at Shawe View.

The club places a strong emphasis on ball mastery, creativity, teamwork and individual development, with sportsmanship and personal improvement at the heart of its philosophy. The fixture gives your players another valuable opportunity to experience a different style of English youth football in a competitive but development-focused environment.

Afternoon & Evening at the Trafford Centre
Enjoy some free time at the Trafford Centre and its surrounding leisure complex, giving players, coaches and families the freedom to spend the afternoon and evening however they choose. Alongside hundreds of shops and a huge choice of restaurants and cafés, there are plenty of entertainment options including the cinema, bowling, crazy golf, golf driving range, sky diving, laser tag, Namco Funscape Arcade, Sea Life Centre and indoor ski slope.

With so much available in one place, the Trafford Centre can become an experience in itself. Whether you want a competitive game of bowling, a few swings at the driving range, a movie, some crazy golf, a session on the ski slope or simply a wander around the shops followed by a great meal, there is something for everyone.

This is a great opportunity to relax between the more structured parts of the tour. Families and smaller groups can choose their own activities, shop at their own pace and decide where and when they would like to eat, while still enjoying time together and creating more shared memories before making the short walk back to the hotel.
Day 6: Liverpool Anfield Stadium Tour & City Centre
Liverpool FC Stadium & Museum Tour
Visit Anfield for a behind-the-scenes tour of one of the most famous football stadiums in the world. Explore key areas of the stadium, experience the atmosphere surrounding this iconic venue and learn more about Liverpool FC’s history, traditions and connection with its supporters.

The experience also includes time in the Liverpool FC Museum, where players, coaches and families can discover the club’s remarkable story through trophies, memorabilia and exhibits celebrating some of the players, managers and moments that have shaped Liverpool’s history.

Spend the afternoon exploring Liverpool, a city famous for its football, music, maritime history and iconic waterfront.

Albert Dock
Explore Liverpool’s historic Albert Dock, one of the city’s most recognisable waterfront areas. With its red-brick warehouses, dockside walkways, boats and waterside atmosphere, it is a great place to experience Liverpool’s maritime history while enjoying the lively mix of restaurants, attractions and open spaces.

The Beatles Statue
Visit the famous Beatles statue on Liverpool’s waterfront, celebrating one of the most influential bands in music history. It is a popular photo stop and a reminder of the city’s enormous cultural impact.

The Royal Liver Building
See the iconic Royal Liver Building, one of the defining landmarks of Liverpool’s skyline. Its clock towers and famous Liver Birds have watched over the waterfront for generations, making it one of the city’s most photographed and instantly recognisable buildings.

River Mersey Waterfront & Liverpool Wheel
Enjoy the views along the River Mersey waterfront, where the promenade offers a great mix of open space, river views and modern attractions. The Liverpool Wheel adds another striking feature to the skyline and gives the area a lively, modern feel while still sitting alongside some of the city’s most historic buildings.

Evening at the Hotel or Trafford Centre
After returning to Manchester, relax at the hotel or enjoy some free time at the Trafford Centre for dinner, shopping or entertainment.
Day 7: Matchday Experience & Travel South
Matchday Experience
Become part of the matchday itself with a unique TFE Matchday Experience. Depending on the host club and availability, players may be able to take part in activities such as a training session, carrying flags onto the pitch, forming a guard of honour, acting as ball boys or girls, taking penalties, joining a half-time pitch walk, being introduced to the crowd, receiving a scoreboard or tannoy message, taking part in pre-match presentations or enjoying other behind-the-scenes opportunities.

It is a fantastic way for players, coaches and family members to experience English football from a completely different perspective. Rather than simply watching from the stands, the group gets the chance to become part of the occasion itself, sharing in the atmosphere, traditions and excitement of matchday and creating memorable moments for everyone.

Travel South & Tour Debrief
After the Matchday Experience, board the private coach and begin the journey south towards Heathrow. The journey gives us a great opportunity to look back on everything the group has experienced during the tour, talk with the players about their favourite moments and hear what they have enjoyed most both on and off the pitch.

We’ll also spend time speaking with parents and family members about their experience, while the coaches have the opportunity to share their feedback on the matches, training sessions, activities and overall organisation of the tour. It is a relaxed way to reflect on the week together, share stories and start bringing an unforgettable experience to a close.

Heathrow Hotel Check-In
Arrive at your Holiday Inn Heathrow hotel and check in for your final night in England. After a busy week of football, sightseeing and shared experiences, enjoy a relaxed evening at the hotel, giving everyone time to unwind, spend some final time together and prepare for the journey home the following day.
Day 8: Final Breakfast & Departure
Final Team Breakfast
Enjoy one final breakfast together at the hotel before checking out. It is a chance for players, coaches and families to spend a little more time together, reflect on the experiences of the tour and say their goodbyes before beginning the journey home.

Transfer to London Heathrow Airport
After breakfast, board your private coach for the short transfer to London Heathrow Airport. We’ll take the group directly to the appropriate terminal in plenty of time for check-in and your flight home.
