To help you get started with fundraising, please find below some ideas and information that should help.

1) A team that travelled with us last year produced the document for me as it was very successful fundraising idea. Click Here

2) There are loads of fundraising idea if you google them, for example https://fundraisingzone.com/sports-fundraising-ideas/soccer-fundraising-ideas/

3) You could ask each player/family to do some research and then set up one fundraising event to help fund their tour. You could set up some team fundraisers to top up the fundraising pot.

4) Below is information that can be handed out to the players and coaches or used as part of a presentation;

    • Fundraising shows the community that the team is active, responsible, and giving back—building support and pride.

  5. Encourages Accountability & Shared Effort

    • Everyone contributing to the goal increases collective responsibility and reduces burden on any single individual.

5) Presentation Speech about Fundraising

"Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a quick moment to talk about why fundraising isn’t just about the money—it’s about the growth we get from doing it.

Personally, fundraising helps each of us step up. It builds our confidence, leadership skills, and teaches us how to work with others and manage responsibility. Plus, when we know we’ve contributed to something bigger than ourselves, it feels really rewarding. As a team, fundraising brings us closer. It’s not just about raising funds for uniforms, trips, or equipment—it’s about working together toward a shared goal. That kind of teamwork builds trust and unity, both on and off the field. We also show our community that we’re involved, responsible, and driven—and that can go a long way in earning support. So let’s bring the same energy we use in games or practice to our fundraising efforts. Because when we all pitch in, we all win—on every level!"

6) Help Spread the Word - If you recommend Total Football Experience Soccer Tours to coaches at other clubs and they go on to book a tour, I’ll pay you a $1000 commission as a thank-you. What you do with it is completely up to you, keep it for yourself, use it for your club or put it towards the soccer tour pot, your referral could make a big difference to fundraising efforts!

7) You might be surprised at just how proactive a young soccer player can be when there’s an incredible goal at the end—like going on a soccer tour to England. The excitement of representing their team overseas, experiencing a new culture, and playing the sport they love on international grounds can spark a whole new level of motivation. Whether it's organizing fundraising events, speaking to local businesses for support, or helping with team efforts, the dream of stepping onto a pitch in England drives them to go above and beyond. It proves that when the goal is meaningful, young athletes can show maturity, initiative, and a strong work ethic beyond their years.
